Terms of Service

Last Updated [June 2026]

These Terms of Service govern your use of slopriot.com and any services you purchase from SlopRiot. By submitting a project brief, making a purchase, or using this site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the site or services.

What SlopRiot Does

SlopRiot is an AI video production company. We research, script, direct, and produce AI-generated video content for ecommerce brands and small businesses. Our deliverables are video files — MP4s formatted for the platforms specified in your brief.

AI-Generated Content Disclosure

SlopRiot produces content using artificial intelligence tools as part of a human-directed creative process. By working with us, you acknowledge and accept that the video files we deliver are AI-generated. We are transparent about this. We do not represent our content as traditionally filmed video.

You are responsible for complying with any platform-specific rules, advertising policies, or disclosure requirements regarding AI-generated content on the platforms where you use our deliverables. This includes, but is not limited to, using each platform’s built-in AI-content labeling tools where required (for example, TikTok’s synthetic media toggle) and any caption- or description-level disclosure that platform separately requires.

Platforms may restrict, suspend, or ban accounts that fail to apply required AI-content disclosures, independent of anything SlopRiot did or did not do. Applying these disclosures correctly, on each platform where you publish our deliverables, is your responsibility, not ours. SlopRiot is not liable for any account restriction, suspension, ban, reduced distribution, or other platform action resulting from a failure to apply required disclosures.

The Services

What’s included

Every project includes: market and competitor research relevant to your brief, creative strategy, a complete script (hook, body, CTA, pacing), storytelling direction, AI video generation, and one round of revisions.

What’s not included

SlopRiot does not manage paid advertising campaigns, media buying, or ad spend. We do not provide ongoing content management or consulting beyond the scope of an individual project. We do not require or offer retainer agreements of any kind.

Unless you’ve separately engaged us for posting, scheduling, or account engagement services as an add-on, SlopRiot does not post, schedule, or manage content on your social media accounts. Where you have engaged us for these services, the scope of what we do on your account — including whether it includes replying to comments or messages, and any response time — will be set out in your project brief, the same way video deliverables are scoped. The Account Standing & Platform Actions section below applies regardless of whether SlopRiot is only delivering files to you or is also posting or engaging on your account.

Scope of each project

Each project is scoped based on your brief. Additional videos, formats, or deliverables beyond the agreed scope may be quoted and delivered as a separate project.

Briefs and Approvals

A project begins when you submit a brief and we confirm acceptance of the scope. We will follow up within 24 hours of receiving your brief to confirm scope, ask any clarifying questions, and provide a quote if needed.

The 72-hour delivery window begins from the point of brief approval — not from form submission. Complex projects or high-volume orders may require additional time, which we will communicate upfront.

We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion, including projects that conflict with our values, require content we’re unwilling to produce, or fall outside our current capacity.

Revisions

One round of revisions is included in every project. A revision round is a single set of consolidated feedback. We will incorporate reasonable revision requests that fall within the original brief scope.

Revisions that represent a significant change in creative direction, a change to the script or brief, or a request for a fundamentally different video may be scoped and quoted as a new project.

Additional revision rounds beyond the included one may be available for an additional fee, to be agreed upon before work begins.

Payment

Payment terms

Payment terms will be specified in your project quote. We typically require payment before or upon delivery of final files, depending on project size. For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins.

Refunds

Due to the custom, creative nature of our work, we do not offer refunds once production has begun. If you are unsatisfied with a deliverable, our commitment is to work with you through the revision process to reach a result you can use.

If SlopRiot is unable to deliver on a confirmed project brief, you will receive a full refund for that project.

Intellectual Property and File Ownership

Upon receipt of full payment, you own the video files we deliver. You may use them for any lawful commercial purpose, including paid advertising, organic social media, and any other distribution channel.

SlopRiot retains the right to use delivered work as portfolio samples and for promotional purposes, unless you request otherwise in writing before or during the project. If you require that your deliverables remain confidential, let us know in your brief and we will honor that request.

SlopRiot retains ownership of its internal processes, methodologies, scripts (prior to delivery), and any creative work not included in the final deliverable.

We do not warrant that the AI-generated video content we produce is free from third-party intellectual property claims. You are responsible for reviewing delivered content and ensuring it meets your legal and compliance requirements before use.

Results and Performance

We are proud of results like 5%+ CTR and 350,000+ views that we have achieved for clients. These results are real. They are not a guarantee. Video ad performance depends on many factors outside our control, including audience targeting, platform algorithm changes, ad spend, offer quality, landing page experience, and market conditions.

We do not guarantee specific results. We commit to doing the creative work — research, strategy, scripting, storytelling, and production — at the highest quality we can deliver.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use our services to produce content that:

  • Is deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading
  • Violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Contains defamatory, harassing, or abusive material
  • Depicts or promotes illegal activities
  • Violates any platform’s terms of service in a way that could expose SlopRiot to liability

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate any project that we determine, in our sole judgment, falls into any of these categories.

Account Standing & Platform Actions

You are solely responsible for the standing of your own social media, advertising, and business profile accounts. This is true whether SlopRiot is only delivering video files to you, or is also posting, scheduling, or engaging on your account as part of an add-on service you’ve engaged us for.

Platforms make independent decisions about account standing based on factors outside SlopRiot’s control and, often, outside the scope of the work we’ve done for you. This includes prior account history, other activity on the account (including activity by you, your team, or any other third party with account access), automated enforcement systems, and platform policy changes. SlopRiot is not liable for any account restriction, suspension, ban, shadowban, reduced distribution, or other platform action, regardless of whether it occurs during or after a project or engagement, and regardless of whether SlopRiot had any posting or engagement access to the account at the time.

Where SlopRiot is engaged to post, schedule, or engage on your account, our responsibility is limited to carrying out that work as scoped in your project brief, including any stated response time for comments or messages. We are not responsible for outcomes we don’t control once content is published — including how a platform’s algorithm distributes it, how other users respond to it, or account actions unrelated to the specific content or engagement we were responsible for.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlopRiot’s total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to our services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific project giving rise to the claim.

SlopRiot will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost business opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Disclaimers

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Illinois. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be resolved in the courts of Illinois, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

Disputes

We’d rather work it out directly. If you have a complaint or dispute, please contact us first at [email protected]. We will make a genuine effort to resolve any issue before either party pursues formal legal action.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the updated date at the top of this page will reflect the change. Continued use of our services after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
